Policy on the Use of Generative AI in Manuscript Preparation

The rapid advancement of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), including tools like ChatGPT and other large language models (LLMs), presents both opportunities and challenges for academic publishing. To ensure transparency and maintain scholarly integrity, the journal allows the appropriate use of these technologies in research publications. However, it is crucial that authors adhere to specific guidelines. These guidelines stipulate that any use of GenAI in the writing process must be thoroughly documented in the methods section. Furthermore, AI cannot be listed as an author, as authorship implies responsibility and accountability, which AI systems cannot assume. All sources and generated content must be checked for accuracy and originality by the authors.
