Engineering education discipline encompasses a complex interplay of various factors, such as the rapid expansion of engineering disciplines, the enhancement of exceptional engineer training, and the advancement of educational excellence. This paper presents an overview of relevant research and practices in the construction of the engineering education discipline, including scientific investigations, disciplinary frameworks, research institutions, research teams, and research methodologies. Additionally, it highlights the key elements for the development and future promotion of the engineering education discipline.
